The democrats now find themselves
in a tough spot. I do believe they are doing what they can. I don’t believe that absolves them from critique.

At this juncture that’s how I feel.

Statesmanship requires diplomacy. There isn’t much choice in the matter. And while I doubt he can have much effect, I admire his attempt at a pragmatic approach to negotiating.

Fear is a very powerful motivation. Most of the ‘anger’ displayed in the electorate can be traced directly (often irrational) fear. The need for critical thinking, leads back to the case for a solid education. The dumbing down of America has been intentional and ongoing since the mid1960s. Sad.
