Fascinated by many things.
Views expressed, likes, etc are personal etc etc
Meanwhile, they carry on with the Tory Special Economic Zones policy, which has already wasted circa £560M.
Do they really think giving it a different name means we can't see it for what it is?

The trouble is, they work very hard at ignoring #Brexit impacts.
One wonders if there is any connection with their party funding.....

They also park next to us, bang their doors against our cars, and then seem puzzled when you object.

Quite right too.
In Germany, decades ago when I served there, all cars required annual checks of things like lights and tyres so it could be a chance to check lights are not dazzling and tyres are safe.

Qui bono?
That's the question people should ask about #Brexit

They walk among us.

I literally came here to say that 💯

Yes, that's what he said before invading Ukraine.

A good thing too
HOWEVER, the govt missed the chance to scrap VED and put all charges on pay per mile, for ALL light vehicles, not just EVs.

Arguably, this type and design of reactor was always going to be too expensive and too slow to build.

I had to read well into the article to find the actual MWp figure of 40 MW
November 28, 2025 at 12:56 PM
Interesting, but it's always preferable to state the actual installed capacity in kW, MW etc, rather than the number of panels.
TBF, I also challenge announcements that say 'will power x thousand homes', which also lacks precision.

yes indeed, according to most, 1 to 2 mbpd

bsky.app/profile/prof...
World 1.5MBPD displaced by EVs in 2024.
China 2025

oil markets break on variations > 1-2MBPD
Oil market not about the 100 mbpd we use, but the 1-2 mbpd YOY change
China's vehicle fleet electrification has just removed 250ML/day of China's demand - or >1.5MBPD
November 28, 2025 at 5:57 AM
It only takes a couple of billion barrels of oil per day of demand to drop off, to trigger a glut. That in turn leads to price instability.
After that point, price of diesel and petrol initially drops, then soars as refineries become uneconomic and close. Then price goes up. Rinse and repeat.

It was timid on cars.
Why not make ALL light vehicles pay per mile, BUT scrap VED?
Getting rid of the flat-rate tax would help low mileage and poorer drivers, whilst simultaneously taxing has guzzlers typically driven by wealthier people, more.
