ngl I think my completionist nature was what helped me become a RWBY fan because I wasn’t blown away when I first watched V1-2

But because there were 10 episodes of V3 out at the time I -had- to see it through and fortunately V3 was a certified banger and cemented me as a fan lol

Turn Around and Face Me needs to give us an update on how Loretta and Pepi are doing 😭

They need to be touring the world performing together

The funny thing about all three of these stories is that they made me want entire spinoff novels of each

I’d love a Loretta/Pepi novel where they navigate getting married, a Melia novel that can go deeper into her life story, and more stories about early-relationship Rae/Claire

[Misunderstandings]

This was a funny, light story to end the book on

I typically wince at the misunderstanding trope but I like that this story is slotted in very early into Rae & Claire’s relationship where it makes sense for Claire’s insecurities to get the best of her

[Things Passed On]

This one was a real treat. Considering how significant Melia is to Claire’s entire arc, getting to learn more about Melia through her POV was wonderful

It gave us better insight into who she was, her relationship with Dole & the true nature of her death 😢

[Echoes of a New Era]

One of my personal highlights of SSCC was getting to learn more about Loretta & Pepi so I was delighted that we got an epilogue story showing how they were post-Revolution

I love that they are somehow more of a mess as a couple than Rae & Claire are lol

I’m guessing they opted to just stick with “Harley Quinn” since renaming it would likely create confusion with people thinking it’s a separate series

Still I think it’d have been a nice way to mark the shift in the series’ status quo

View Counts never really bothered me but at least now I’ll be able to fully pretend that any posts that didn’t get attention simply got missed by people rather than because they weren’t good lol
