Meiji Jingu was great when I visited. Biggest torii gate I saw during the whole trip was there. I saw you've got a couple other map points near it.

I find the original US printing of Scout is slightly too small. It takes too much Tetris to pack it back into the box. I would prefer it were an inch bigger in one dimension just to make it easier to clean up.

It never ceases to surprise me, all the niche skills a person needs to publish a game. Add video editing to that list and to my to-do list.

What games do you recommend for a 2 year old? We've done My First Orchard with my son, but we need to add some variety.

I also gained so much appreciation for the tasks that go on in game publishing that I've never done before. Assembling documents for printing is a lot of work! Art is a lot of work! Game design is far and away my favorite part of the puzzle, and that part doesn't feel like work.

I know this is just a jam game, but it feels very momentous to me. I have been prototyping games for years now, but never with a proper deadline. It was a lot of work (I'm guessing nearly 40 hours) to put this all together in the last month. It's like a breath of fresh air being done.

For cards and similar I've been using Python and the pillow library to generate images directly. Whenever I make adjustments I just rerun a script and get fresh images. I haven't found a happy workflow for documents like rulebooks yet.
