YouTube (Google) is no better. I complained about an advert for an electric heater that claimed 300% efficiency. Not upheld.
(Reuters) - Meta internally projected late last year that it would earn about 10% of its overall annual revenue – or $16 billion – from running advertising for scams and banned goods, internal company documents show.

Sky News and the BBC repeatedly mention the "migrant crisis" in doing so they are normalising and legitimising far right talking points. There is no "migrant crisis", there is only migrant hysteria, which the British media is feeding into instead of countering.

Why stop at the decalogue? Leviticus 19:34 should be next. And will older children have Matthew 5:21-22 on the wall too? 'Thou shalt not kill' is a bit unambitious without it.

Pretty poor that Parliament couldn't have clarified its own definition in the Equality Act 2010, at some point in the intervening decade and a half. Many people will assume that some kind of value judgment is being made here, not merely statutory interpretation.

Writing about Appleby Fair today. I want people to understand the extent of the prejudice that the Gypsy and Traveller communities still face. I'm struggling with the brutality of some of it, even just secondhand through the page. Racism is not ok, not against anyone. Ever.

How long before US companies want immunities for tax abuse, money laundering?

In 1659, the the Puritans in Massachusetts enacted a law that declared that Christmas was sacrilege and exchanging of gifts, greetings, and wearing fine clothing on that day was Satanic. Anyone caught celebrating was fined 5 shillings. (About 5 days wages.)

The "War on Christmas" was an inside job.

Don’t ever tell me we have to design our towns and cities for fire engines when in the 70s, they designed a tiny fire engine for the first US-style indoor mall in the UK.
