After a successful man overboard exercise with Danny Church & team at #Southwold ferry last night, our davit decided to haemorrhage its hydraulic fluid while we recovered the boat. Leak was safely contained and we remain on service using alternative digs.

Great fun catching up with our elite citizen scientist collaborators at the University of Suffolk yesterday. They’ve been monitoring coliforms in Suffolk’s River Deben & we’ve been sequencing the genomes looking for AMR genes & toxins etc. Special thanks to @countrylogs.bsky.social 😀🧬🔬🧫
