My favorite pastime this week is convincing my elders to keep their thoughts about the halftime show to themselves.

Today I remembered that for a field trip in eighth grade we went to multiple cemeteries to perform sketches and songs about the people who had died. I did a rap to the tune of Ice Ice Baby…but it was “James James Eads.” 💀 💀 💀
