many of these vapes bring the ARM SWD lines out through the charging connector's CC lines. with a simple breakout board and an SWD dongle you can reprogram the firmware.

what was the problem? a while back there was a bad SMS card that i swapped out with a spare. turns out the spare went bad as well, so i just swapped in the original card since i had repaired it. see this thread: mastodon.social/@tubetime/11...
