It's been 5 months since Jim died. Last night I had a dream that I was on the phone with him. I was crying and asking him to come home. I was telling him how much I missed him and love him. He said he was coming home, and I was so happy. Then I woke up. I've been crying off and on all day. 41 years

I'm glad I decorated for Xmas. It would be way more depressing if I hadn't. It's sad enough not having hubby here.

I have a lovely assortment of ornaments. Some are over 60 years old. There are some from my childhood and my children's. Mix it all up with the newer ones. It's seeing my entire life hanging on a xmas tree.

I ordered 2 plum tomatoes. They're usually not real big. I get them because I don't need much of them. I received huge ones.

A clump of matted fur I got off of Sophia's chest. I've never had a long-haired cat before. What a pain in the ass. She doesn't like to be combed. I have to trap her in the bathroom. It's a chore. It's freaking amazing how tight it is.
