The annual Fabulous Family Fun Day at Salisbury Rugby Club, in aid of Salisbury Hospice Charity on Saturday 10th May. Great live music (punk, folk, brass bands and more), real ales, food, and loads of activities for kids.

Planting seeds is an act of hope. Trying my luck with Flax, which should give some outrageous pinky red flowers in June. Have just realised that the Latin name, Linum, relates to to linseed. A horticulturalist tells me it's where we get the word 'linen' too.

I watch this from time to time, just because your unrestrained laughter makes me laugh too. Here's a bonus photo of John Leeson, the voice of K9. I thought K9 was marvellous when he was introduced in 1977. I was only five, so maybe I was easily impressed.
