Rewatching Squid Game before I go into Season 2 and I'm genuinely amazed by how good Episode 1 is. You learn everything you need to about Gi-Hun and everything he has at stake all the while being introduced to the games and at a pace that feels natural, all in under an hour.

Haven't had the opportunity to watch too many Christmas movies yet, but I've wanted to check this one out. I've heard it's one of the best.

Hot take: I think Nostalgia is great actually... it's just being used wrong. Nostalgia works best when it's a tool to inspire creativity, not to substitute it. . build on it, expand on it. don't just repeat it.
