Overall extraordinary that leaders in Canadian nursing profession are so gung-ho on ending patient lives w #euthanasia as a medical intervention and either do not know what the law is/was and what is happening, or misrepresent it, and respond with ad-hominem claims…

Note the remarkable rejection of all potential problems w Canada’s expansive #MAID #euthanasia regime, demonstrably false claims (i.e. that return to 2016 regime would mean ‘people can only get it hours or days before dying’) & ad hominem claims

Another clear sign of the pernicious impact of the normalization of #euthanasia as therapy for all forms of suffering in Canada… Time for federal & provincial governments to act and take concerns seriously & to follow recommendations of UN Committee Rights of P w Disabilities

Psychiatric evaluation is not required, nor do 3 medical professionals have to review a request in Canada’s MAID system . You may want to read the reports or the article before claiming all is well
