I got the best campsite at Anastasia State Park last week by using a website called CampNab that gives you instant alerts when a site is canceled. We were half a mile from the beach and unlike most of the other sites, we weren’t facing another campsite and couldn’t see neighbors.

On our last trip, we lucked out and found this picnic area to take a break. Big Hart McDuffie Campground boat ramp. Lake is known in GA as Clarks Hill Lake but the feds renamed it Strom Thurmond Lake. GA evidently refused. I still say Denali, too.
