From Chelyabinsk via Ukraine. Picked up this pretty dang cool looking 15J 1953 Molnija pocket watch to learn some watch cleaning & repair on. 80% of these parts were hand made. 70 years later it's getting "worked" on by a nerd in Australia.

finished sewing a book together! Pretty cool. I hadn’t done it before but the process scratched several itches: research, experimentation, sourcing of proper materials and application of a handful of new skills. It isn’t perfect but I enjoy knowing what needs to be done to make it better next time.

Made some book cloth from rice paper, wheat paste, and some blue cotton duck. Way easier than I was expecting, give it a go!
