Over 30 years of professional arts- fine art, illustration, exhibits, commissions, murals, Procreate, Adobe Suite, leads culturally rooted workshops in the arts. Featured in the art history book Latin American Women Artists of the United States.
The Luquillo Parrot, relies on old growth forests in Puerto Rico to nest in. Habitat destruction dwindled the population to 13 birds. The birds are now managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, increasing numbers to 100s of birds.

A painting I made to commemorate Hiram Rosado whom was gunned down along with his friend Beauchamp after resisting the occupation of US forces in Puerto Rico in 1936.

What can I create for you? The painting La Reina de Corazónes was accepted in the Art Barn School of Art’s 31st Annual Juried Art Exhibition, Valparaiso, IN. 234 pieces were submitted to the exhibit & only 74 accepted. The exhibit runs April 4- June 5, 2025.

The axolotl is an endangered variety of aquatic salamander endemic to the chinampas, the native gardens of Mexico. A symbol of native identity, Axolotls are named after the Aztec twin deity of maize, agave and water, Xolotl & the underworld version of the feathered serpent deity Quetzalcoatl.

A 2001 Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at Robert Busby’s Creole Gallery. The spaces Robert & Barb Morris created for artists are the partial inspiration behind Casa de Rosado Galeria & Cultural Center. Artist centered leadership &may have its challenges but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

A fun painting I made of Wayne Gorbea y Salsa Caliente. It started as a sketch from an evening they performed at the Michigan Folk Festival in East Lansing during the 90s. Tombone player Rick Davies, picked one of my paintings for his album Salsa Strut. It was a lot of fun to paint! #theresarosado
