Genocides never stop by agreement, they only stop when the genocidal forces are kinetically and aggressively rendered incapable of functioning
In addition to resuming airstrikes, Israel has also announced it will again prevent the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
"The fear now among people here is that the [Israeli attacks] are endangering an already fragile ceasefire across the Strip."

Al Jazeera's Hani Mahmoud reports on the wave of Israeli air attacks across Gaza after Israel accused Hamas of ceasefire violations.

never feels less surreal over the years when i click a video from Ukraine and it's some guys desperately struggling to stay alive in the unimaginable hellscape of modern warfare, but the soundtrack is the most godawful peppy techno in human history. And the fighters picked the music too

"In the West Bank and Jerusalem, far from Hamas-controlled Gaza, more than 19,000 Palestinians were swept up since Oct. 7. As of this month, more than 11,000 Palestinians were still locked up in Israeli prisons, almost a third of them under “administrative detention,” without charges or a trial."
"There must be pressure to end the unsparing detention of the thousands of Palestinians held in Israel’s prisons, many under conditions that defy international laws mandating humane treatment of detainees."

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa says the US-backed agreement to end Israel's war on Gaza will have no bearing on his country’s case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Unconditional support for the Israeli government is counterproductive for both countries. If Trump can get tough, why not Congress and every potus? FIFA is too cowardly to kick the occupation state from all competitions so countries are making sure they don’t advance by trashing them. Norway won their match today 5-0 and Norway’s soccer federation says it will donate all profits from this World Cup qualifying game to aid work in Gaza.

ICE left David, a 17-year-old boy, stranded on the side of Interstate 20 after pulling over his immigrant father, Hector, in Mississippi.

David began running in the scorching sun after the car and watched as it disappeared from sight—soon headed to a Louisiana ICE prison.

Here's their story.

A former DOGE staffer developed an AI tool that hallucinated the size of Veterans Affairs contracts.

For example, it concluded that more than a thousand deals were each worth $34 million, when in fact some were for as little as $35,000.

This is all bullshit, by the way. There is no imminent risk of rotting crops, according to experts and farmworker unions. It's a ploy to cut wages (even below state minimum wages) for foreign workers, which will eventually hit U.S. workers too.
So much for America First!

So this is funny.
The administration just issued a rule slashing foreign agricultural worker wages. And to justify it, in a public filing, Trump's Labor Department alleges that Trump's immigration enforcement has devastated the Ag workforce and caused a "risk of supply shock-induced food shortages."

Mike Johnson’s position is young pregnant American women shouldn’t have to wait before being turned away to die in the parking lot from an ectopic pregnancy the hospital is afraid to treat
Mike Johnson: "If you're a young, pregnant American citizen women who shows up in an ER and you get treated and they pay the hospital less for treating you than some illegal rabble rouser who came in from some South American country to do us harm, that is wrong."

Q: Do you agree that the mayor of Chicago and governor of Illinois should be in prison?

MIKE JOHNSON: Should they be in prison? I'm not the attorney general. I'm not following the day to day on that
