Let’s spell this out. Trump fired a qualified U.S. attorney who refused to do his bidding and installed his own personal lawyer to punish a perceived opponent. Justice needs to follow the law, not politics.

If you're a federal prosecutor, don't resign. Follow your conscience when doing your job and don't do anything that violates your state bar's code of ethics.
If they want you to do unethical things, decline to do so and work to make it stick. Make them fire you if they persist.

Ope. Using my first skeet to criticize this garbage take. Especially rich that they use a metaphor about this being like a parent using influence to bring a kid home from a war zone - a thing Biden famously did not do. Trib gonna Trib.
