It's part of why I feel a measure of pride in Australia. We have our flaws no doubt; those among us who would rather sow division Ava fear than work in unity. But that's part of our strength; we are diverse, and from many places, all working towards the shared goal that is Australia.

I can feel the evil and sadism that I see in the world rotting my soul. I hate some people now and I never used to hate. I am immensely grateful for my friends who are better people than I reminding me not to wish for death and suffering but only the return of justice will give me peace again.

The basic problem is that media elites don't think it's a problem because it happens to people they don't care about, so it simply doesn't register as hypocrisy to them. The people whose lives and careers are ruined are just part of the game, they're not the players.
