“Centrist” is code for “average except high class, high class except average” which is the worst way to not be average and the worst way to be high class
He keeps saying we need to appeal to the “center,” which is the word he uses instead of “average” because his primary audience is overachieving try hards who refuse to admit how mid they are, but yeah he’s not good at reaching average people and that’s who you really need
