Couldn’t be prouder of the boys tonight, gave everything and showed that we can match anyone on our day. A couple of silly mistakes and we were undone. It’s all a learning experience. Now they have the taste of it, they have to earn it again for next year in the next five weeks.

Whenever I see Maatsen play he always looks proactive and on the front foot. Great work for the winning goal. I’m not clever enough to understand the tactical nuances that mean Digne has to play, but I’m looking forward to Maatsen’s eventual progress with us. #avfc

I’ve not seen someone come back from an injury and be better than they were before… especially an ACL. I know it’s early days yet but Kamara looked a level above where he was before. It looks so easy for him. #avfc

Carbone and Hadji narrowly missing out!

I find it really difficult to balance out when #AVFC are winning to when they’re losing. Win and I want to consume every bit of analysis. Lose and I just have to ignore everything for my own peace of mind. Am I the epitome of only sing when we’re winning!?
