Avid reader, formerly a struggling writer, now just struggling. Long-time comic book reader and fan.
When I saw that Batman was going to have a fourth number one issue, I thought "Why?" Yeah, Matt Fraction is writing it, but I'd rather see him start at 900 something. It also makes my almost complete 700+ issue run of that title more substantial!

I've never been a fan of Marvel and DC restarting series at number one over and over. Maybe it's me, but I think the "readers need a jumping on point and a new number one" is a fallacy. Also maybe just me, but seeing at title at number 351 made me curious about the other five and 350 issues.

What was the actual hardest part was building my confidence back up to write anything. I've had a number of setbacks creatively that killed any enthusiasm to write or create anything related to comic books. From collaborations dissolving to abandoned projects to editor ghosting, it's been difficult.

I wrote my first comic script in a few years after a little push from my best friend @jrloflin.bsky.social. It's only eight pages, but it's introducing a comic character I created around 30 years ago. To me, the actual scripting is easy. Trying to resize the pages for printing is the hardest part.

I don't know if I ever saw this. I remember seeing ads for UFO Kidnapped, but I don't think I ever sat down and watched it.

I've suspected that for a long time. Now it may seem more plausible.

Funny, that was the same photo of MJ on the Human Nature single. I think I had a generic Epic Records sleeve for the Thriller single.

I know you said "through Sunday at 6pm", but would you be still collecting food tomorrow? I'm thinking of coming in tomorrow and would like to bring a few canned goods.

Blame the confusion on just waking up, but I thought this was a TWA-sponsored Squirrel Girl with really long fingernails.

Repugnant, repulsive, revolting...

To be honest, I didn't know about them until years after these were released. I know they came out in support of the 1989 movie. I knew about the series and the reprints that you mailed in for from the cereal, but not these book and cassette sets.
