NEW — DOGE is preparing to purge an unknown number of USAID accounts. Source in the dept. said Musk youth employee Gavin Kliger has been made administrator of all systems, bypassing usual clearance process. If an account is shut down, employee loses access to email, shared files, internal systems.

Great reporting:
New from me: OPM, basically the government's HR, now includes people with backgrounds at Musk's companies at its highest levels. And while the takeover of USDS as DOGE has gotten a lot of scrutiny, the changes at OPM have been much much quieter.

The new general counsel for OPM—the office issuing all those deranged memos—is Andrew Kloster, a self-described “raging misogynist” with a public history of racist comments and a temporary restraining order for domestic violence who most recently worked for Matt Gaetz.

2. And until then - Biden should send all of the allocated weapons, let the Ukrainians hit targets in Russia with American and European missiles, and above all pressure the Europeans, finally, to release the $300 billion in frozen Russian assets. No time to lose.

1. “Land for peace” sounds nice, but the president of Russia isn’t fighting for land. Putin is fighting to destroy Ukraine as a nation. When the next U.S. president takes office he will therefore face the same choices : help Putin win, or help him lose.
