Why is that ‘political leadership’ seems to be an oxymoron 🤔 Easy to get depressed at seeing the mistakes of the 1930’s being repeated, but hoping for uplifting sources of hope, optimism and inspiration.

Starmer actually doing a very decent job, calling out Musk's obsessive flirtation with the far right

The platform is a constant conveyor of missinformation and used to undermine European democracies to satisfy his ego

I'd like to see UK Government accounts now boycott the platform

Frustrated by decisions which seem to be gifts for the populist right, especially our poundland trump. Nicola Jennings take in the Guardian seems unfortunately accurate.

Short #ncfc thread. Shocking indiscipline @ SoL. Unnecessary, petulant Sainz foul 20 yards out = FK for SAFC 1st goal. Winner followed sending off of Cordoba for 2nd yellow. They’re called ‘cautions’ for a reason. There could be subsequent charge for failing to walk straight away imo. (More …)

Nice easy question for Canaries fans… James Maddison had a leading role in the Spurs rout of Southampton that led to Russ Martins dismissal. In what season did Maddison and Martin play together in the same Norwich team? #NCFC

Interesting to see German football clubs migrating. Seems quality of engagement trumps quantity. Be nice to see #NCFC and others using the space they have on Bluesky, and encouragement by those on both to move across.

So, no VAR in the Championship, but cameras can be used for sending offs after the game is over 🧐 Still, Kenny is next available for the home return with ….. QPR (Dec 29). Could be lively #NCFC

I’m seeing comments about people being variously ‘shocked’ and ‘stunned’ by Trumps picks for the top posts in his administration. Don’t know what they were expecting - looks to be going exactly as expected for a fascist dictator.
