also AUR is not really a repository in the sense that other repositories are. you can't add it. it's just a bunch of assorted PKGBUILDs

well yeah, but it's not supposed to be trusted much, since everyone can upload a package to it. you're supposed to read the PKGBUILDs you are installing and make sure nothing shady is going on
