Alright, I don't want to spoil anything so I'm going to shut up now lol.

BUT, if anyone would ever need an extra talking head on a Spoilercast for it, hit your dude up (ran a PC & Xbox-centric podcast for years, so I can hang haha)! Been getting the content creating itch again recently 😬

I don't want to give too much away because I legitimately think there are some truly beautifully crafted moments in this game (both narratively & gameplay moments). For as convoluted Kojima can get with his writing, it felt VERY focused in comparison to the first. HUGE plus as a Kojima fan!

- Shoutout Dollman. Teetered on annoying a few times (mostly the situation of me taking damage and him saying "Oh are you hurt, Sam?". Yeah dude, ya think? Lmao), but was endearing & useful MUCH more often than not.

- If you didn't like the core loop & concept of the first game, you *probably* still won't dig this one, but the combat is much more engaging, prevalent and overall rewarding this time around (if that was your hang up previously).

- There is one scene that comes completely out of left field for the tone conveyed at the time that just shouldn't land but absolutely DOES, IMO. (You'll know it when you get to it)

- Still don't love the 'one foot in, one foot out' approach with the open world. Absolutely might just be me though!

I REALLY want to talk in depth/openly about it, obviously won't out of respects to spoilers but some top level thoughts:

- If Kojima doesn't go with a well known actor (or VA) for the lead for Physint, you GOTTA call Luca Marinelli. Snake-esque reasons aside, he owned every scene he was in as Neil.
