The federal government creates its own dollars. It spends dollars into existence and taxes them out of existence. It literally doesn't need California tax dollars.

I think it's more of a spectrum than a binary. Voting still matters. Just not as much as it should. And mostly as a defense from things getting even worse.

I feel more like veganism is a moral baseline more than a high aspiration. It's really not that hard.
