HAYES: “2 female reporters asking obviously totally newsworthy Q’s — one gets called ‘PIGGY’ the other gets called ‘INSUBORDINATE’ because she didn’t bow and scrape to the Saudi King.”

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.
Ordered a takeaway last night, by phone and voice of all this, and horrors, they said cash only. Ensuing mad scramble to locate actual hard currency. What kind of monsters do this? I assumed it was only drugs and university assignments that were paid for in cash these days.

Street food festivals would be better if they were like beer festivals, and vendors let people have 1/3 or 1/2 of a full portion for roughly 1/3 or 1/2 of the price. If people wanted a main meal they'd go to a restaurant

I was at a birthday party in France on Saturday; in typical French style we played pétanque. Also super impressive curly moustache from the gentleman in the foreground.

Out for chicken barbecue last night in (South) Korea, I love how the cook pretty much everything here, the neck, skin and cartilage went on too, not just the breast & thigh.

A termite mound. Apparently the queen can live up to 35 years. The mound is used to keep the underground chambers at a constant temperature, it acts like a chimney. #madikwe#safari
