I loved a lot in this game: music, map design, bosses. I really liked playing as Jonathan and Charlotte, especially with the team mechanics. I would love to see if any other Metroidvania has this game's mechanics. Might be my favorite Castlevania now.

I haven't loved a medical show like this since I watched Scrubs for the first time. I think framing each episode as a real-time hour in the shift of the ER team was genius. But this show really knows how to hit you with emotional battery, I was tearing up near the end.

This felt more like a play than a movie but that's absolutely not a knock against the movie. Ethan Hawke really stands out as Lorenz Hart, really selling me on the depression that this person was going through. It reminded me a little bit of Amadeus, but on a way smaller scale.

I got interrupted by errands during this watch. But I really enjoyed what I saw. You get a real sense that these were all people that Mira Nair interacted with in real life and I saw a lot of my own family in these characters as well. Just need to rewatch with 0 interruptions.

"A future is not given to you. It is something you must take for yourself."
It's a coin flip whether I like this or Replicant more. I don't think I've had a game make me tear up since I tried playing Celeste years ago.

This was the funniest show I've seen in a very long time. Makes me think this what you would get if you put Nathan For You, Always Sunny, and Ed Edd n Eddy into a blender. Really looking forward to the movie and Season 3 in a few months.

I feel a little conflicted. I had a lot of fun with this with the new battle system, the characters, new Megas, and game loop. But it still carries a lot of the issues modern Pokemon has with presentation (music aside). Hope Gen 10 takes the right cues from this.

Yeah this definitely feels like Robert Eggers' first full movie. I liked it a lot, especially Ralph Ineson's performance as the dad. I also really enjoyed the script of this one, watching the family fall apart really adds to the horror.

Everything about this movie's production design should've led to this being peak. But the pacing feels absurdly slow at many points and the performances can get really distracting.

I loved this more than S1 of the anime. It still had a lot of the cinematic elements from S1 without sacrificing the insanity of the manga and I hope they keep this level of direction for the next parts. Everything came together to elevate the original arc.

After 2022's Pinocchio, I was very excited for GDT's next movie and it did not disappoint. Elordi and Isaac deliver fantastic performances as the monster and Victor. It's shot beautifully as well so please see it in theaters if you can.

I didn't think I'd find a new favorite in manga again in the same year. It reminded me a lot of what I love about series like Skip and Loafer and March Comes in like a Lion. It feels like coming home to a hot bowl of soup after a long, cold day out.

Despite a lot of annoyances with fetch quests and traversal, this might be one of my new favorites of all time. With how it presents its themes of identity and existentialism and its cast, I wish I got to this game much sooner than I did.

It's the prime example of being a hot mess but it says life is worth living at the end so it's peak. This is Hosoda's messiest movie so far but I didn't hate it for what it was. The middle drags on for a bit too long and even its visuals feel inconsistent at points. YMMV

I don't think I've seen a show so in love with "the idea" of animation since Chowder and that sounds insane to me? It's just packed with so much joy and whimsy. And I love KyoAni's commitment to making you feel like the medium of animation changed forever every episode.

Not every sketch is a winner. But the rest of them are and they might be some of my favorite bits in comedy. Just love the whiplash between the sketches where Tim's a normal guy and the others where he's moving and screaming like a Muppet.

A really fascinating movie that I really think I need to rewatch to get a much better understanding. It's a very abstract movie on first watch but it really captures the dynamic of one of the most poisonous relationships possible, especially through our leads' performances.

Visually, I think this movie is near perfect. Especially with how it uses primary colors in almost every shot, it has a really unique visual identity. Can't say the same praise about the script, despite a few really standout horror sequences.

That sure was a movie. Peter Lorre puts on a good performance as the villain but man, this script is really hokey.

This was a really cute movie. I liked the main character a lot and how the movie presented its time travel mechanics. But I wanna say somewhere near the middle of the 2nd or 3rd act, it did lose a little steam for me.

I think this might be even better than season 1. It genuinely felt like this series never went away for 15 years. Can't wait for season 3 in another 15 years

"You wanna make some bacon?" -Brennan Lee Mulligan
This movie was excellent. A lot of really solid laughs. I was surprised by the action cause I don't think this director is known for action. Liked a lot of the performances. It has an energy to it that doesn't stop.

I'm genuinely surprised this didn't get axed in its first year of publishing. But I didn't hate what I was reading cause I thought the action was pretty well choreographed at points.

I was kind of disappointed in this movie outside of Mia Goth's performance. She has a really good monologue right at the end but it always felt like it was meandering until each death. And the deaths felt weak anyway. I might watch X and call it at that.
