We have a whole network of established food banks ready to distribute food right now, and someone figures out how to make that the DNC’s job instead of supporting general election campaigns, as a way to get clicks. The DNC really burrows into some people’s heads.

Went to the Hawthorn Asylum food carts in Portland to send off a colleague and was admiring the irony of the Fallout-style post-apocalyptic decor, including an old plane and decorative barbed wire. Portland does have hellscapes, they’re just artistic and have great food.

Bringing my weekly Washington County food exploration series over here from Threads. First up: Bag ‘o Crab in Beaverton. Why? I appreciate apostrophes. Quiet and comfortable, cute robot assists the wait staff. Had their lunch Cajun fish special. Mildly spicy, nice salad.

Hmmmmm. The body of water here on the weather.com app on iOS doesn’t seem to have a name, at least I couldn’t find one zooming around. The Labrador Sea has a name in this app though. Also the Gulf of California. Maybe I’m missing it?
