I spend most of my time either trapped under a cat or in the lab trapped by my addiction to experimental science.
This is just out-of-the-box (or tent) thinking. He's a visionary. People go to school for years and years, get advanced degrees and all that, and still can't manage it. And he's so young. Bravo. I expect great things from him. He is going to change the world.

Chairface Chippendale and the Deadly Bulb from The Tick. I dont approve of their actions, but I have a lot of sympathy for when society mistreats you for being born different. It's really hard to not become a worse version of yourself in those circumstances.

"Wayward Sisters" (backdoor pilot for a Supernatural spinoff)

This is my fear! I was planning on making little glow in the dark ghosts to give out with candy next Halloween, but now I'm rethinking.

Is this just a "me" problem, or does this happen to other people?

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before...." (apologies to Poe)

I did not expect this rollercoaster when I woke up this morning.

Be safe with whatever tuxedoed dinosaurs you encounter!

I'm so glad the show helped you like it did me! That last thing you said resonates - I think our culture is unhealthy in how we deal with grief. The show created a permission structure to feel grief and other emotions fully. To meet ourselves in a society where we are often strangers to ourselves.

My mom had a stroke just before zoey's season 2 aired and died mid-season 2. The show helped me through anticipatory grief and then full-on grieving. It was sort of like "parallel play" but for grief. It's hard for me to be objective given what it meant to me, but I think it was really brilliant.

I miss Zoey. Brilliant Minds is very hit or miss. It reminds me of when a writer learns some science thing (like what event horizon means) and makes plot out of it despite not fully understanding. I was psyched they mentioned flatlining from neurocardiogenic syncope, but then...no, oh no.

People often say, "Wherever you go, there you are," but the line is "no matter where you go, there you are." (The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension, 1984).

Yes, I know someone even titled a book with the misquote much later.

I mean, if I put an album on the floor, one of my cats will pretty quickly be on it. Or is that not what you meant?

"Play it again, Sam" wasn't said in Casablanca.

I think the lines in "strange brew" referring to this are also usually misquoted.

And don't forget, we have congestion pricing in NYC for those UHauls now, too.

Hi, Darth! Maisie and Sunshine say hello. Do not be fooled. Maisie only appears to be asleep. She is awake and ready to spring into action. Sunshine is trying to peer into your soul. He does that a lot. You get used to it.

You can join us in the ether! We will all watch together, just separately. Which is kind of how we do a lot of things in NYC.

Stargate SG-1 and Supernatural. The angels in SG-1 being partially ascended ancients bound to Earth or Goa'uld or something like that.

Doctor Strange and Serenity. My headcanon is that Doctor Strange is the Operative's origin story with Chiwetel Ejiofor playing the same character in both.
