Right, this is the offending part of the article. It makes no sense to me as a smoking gun.

Now yes, there can be all sorts of fake risk transfer that has happened. This is what Gen Re and AIG got caught up in long time ago. Could this be happening? Sure.

Ok, last time I’ll post about it here. The Geolocation feature is back on Twitter, and apparently for good this time. I also believe this is the right take:

So Twitter fully rolled out their Location feature last night. Was live for maybe an hour. Got pulled. Probably because this started happening to many of the largest U.S. politics themed rage bait accounts on there.

And now it seems to be rolled out with country sharing turned on by default. For instance (I am telling ya, all these ragebait accounts are predominantly not American).

Can definitely see your own. At the moment, it seems you can enable publicly showing your own country of origin (distinct from user entered location). Don't know how spoofable this is via proxies, etc. Seems to be some indication that when they fully roll it out, it wont be totally trivial to spoof.

Here comes the Dutch tender.

Personally, I thought they would have waited for lower prices.

Regardless, as I like to say, I can hold my own in insurance, but would get worried if I found myself on the other side of a transaction from the White Mountains boys.

Yes, there is a mild liquidity crunch. Generally, $3T is considered the minimum safe level* for reserves in the system. That line keeps getting breached recently (see bottom row in 2nd pic).

* - no one really knows what the "red line" is. The $3T is just an estimate that appears in Fed papers.

Improvement, but still very far away from being able to do 2000m at this pace.

Just gonna put this snippet (which shows how ridiculous that 70% number is) from the report here.

Gawd, I want to have a better handle on the futures exchanges ecosystem so bad.

lol! doggo to the rescue!

This felt impossible. Think I just got lucky with RNG this particular iteration.

(screenshot isn't my gameplay, but that's the standard "pseudo-cut scene" once you've beaten the boss - encounter seemed to go on forever though).

Did a double take when I saw “involution” in the FT. Did not know it was a real word, as opposed to a technical term in the sciences. Mirriam-Webster says it’s a real word.

I get why the CEOs of the firms have to bend the knee (still can't stand Zuckerberg though). Do not understand why Billy G has to even be there.
