because every time you claim “apolitical”, that itself is a political choice, and those who are queer get pushed out more and more, and those who are bigoted stay put, like weeds in a garden. and further and further you lose the cozy garden that grew around you, to the weeds you never plucked.

dont double down and claim cancel culture. listen to the perspectives of those marginalized by society, and own up to it.
as you yourself said, “in the internet of today if you dont say something then the room will fill up with the people who do”, and the room is filling up with the bigots

thats why this matters so much when you have a platform as big as you do. you cant choose to be “apolitical”, because that choice itself is fundamentally political. because when you platform a guy whos audience harasses trans voice actresses, whos said bigoted and racist things, thats political

with the current situation with @piratesoftware.live and his video with asmongold, i think its really important to recognize that while someone themselves might be pro-LGBTQ+, if they have a platform as big as Thor’s and they actively choose to be “apolitical”, that is a political choice right there
