What a great day! One of my MA students just sold her book proposal to a high level publisher, and a local production company has invited my docu-series team to come pitch in person. And the filmmakers in my producing UMKC class are pretty excellent, too.

I love that the local college radio station here in Kansas is dedicated to all African-American music to celebrate MLK Day. As so much of this music are anthems / social awareness & justice-oriented, it's like a protest to what else is going on today.
