I watched a documentary on how animatronics were developed and people had the same reaction to them as they do AI now. A lot of people said they would take their jobs (and they did) and others had moral questions about "bringing someone back from the dead and to put words in their mouths".

Yeah I agree, though, he liked art as a business, he didn't care much for art as a means of expression. Animation was newer and popular at the time, as were animatronics.

I just know if he had been alive today he'd have loved the AI theft machine. He probably would have made his own 😭

He was also one of the first tech bros in that all he cared about were animatronics and wanted a way to make art and animations without humans being involved bc he wanted them to be more efficient like a machine, so he ended up treating his artists like absolute shit.

That’s what I was thinking, as long as you don’t put yourself into a mature category it shouldn’t effect people being able to watch you (though they might have to do it offline if their account wants them to verify anyway, which might be the case for some unfortunately)

It’s gonna sound so insane for me to say this, but genuinely I get withdrawals when I go too long without making something. My skin feels too tight, my mind goes numb, I feel so empty.

Only from creating do I feel life.

Validation is nice ig, but nothing beats that feeling of satisfaction. The roaring fires of inspiration. The excitement from getting new ideas. The deep calm of process. Overwhelming fulfillment from finishing a piece.

Only in creating can you experience it. I can’t think of anything better.
