But then third, you do something completely ridiculous, like a TV series with seemingly dead Bond resurrected as a cyborg. Why not?

Leave in the serious stuff about how Bond's relationships always fall apart, and when he's not out in the field he's bored and depressed. We don't need to bring him into the modern world, he can be a man of his time. And the action scenes can be normal and not Hollywood-ized and over the top.
