Thank you, my dear! I think it'll be okay, mostly. It might just take a few days of bumping it back up to get it worked into my system again. The non-stim type works on building up a standard, so I might just need to reclaim what I've lost, so to speak.

...very slightest sway. No seasickness to be had that way.
Also, since the helipad is fixed to the steady structure, there's not as many issues with weather screwing up the helicopters being able to land. Many fewer issues that way!

Unfortunately not; there weren't any left by the time I was booking my ticket. But it's not a huge deal. The seats in the various areas recline half-decently, and I have my ear buds. Between that and the Gravol I will most definitely take just in case, I'm sure I'll be out for most of the ride. lol

Oh god, yes, it's gonna be GLORIOUS. lol Mind you, circumstances being what they are, I won't actually be in it until Sunday night, but in the interim I've got a couple of comfy hotel beds to ease me back into it. 😂

...rarely get delayed more than a day. But somewhere around October, through to about March, it's like typhoon season out there and everything goes to hell. Honestly, for how much trouble it causes (and money it costs!) it baffles me that they don't just shut everything down for those few months. 😅

...scheduled shift you get paid double time, but we only got straight time. 😒 I'm still not complaining, bc getting paid is getting paid, but it did feel like a bit of a kick in the teeth when I found out we were kinda getting screwed in that respect. 🙄
