I tried to read fancy non-fiction, I wanted to be that person.

But a fantasy or sci-fi epic just gets me every time and is a pleasure to pick up.

No point trying to pretend that I’m a deep and thoughtful reader.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is my fave 7/10 (truth be told, it might be a 5/10 in disguise.)

Erica and Maquette are fairly recent examples of games that tried some interesting stuff while falling short overall.

My kids are working through Violet. We own Arceus but they haven’t vibed with it yet. Young’uns though. Will be a while before we get to ZA.

I haven’t owned a PC for 18 years, so don’t have access to tools like Reshade, but some games that were visually arresting to me recently include Jusant, Exo One & Lorelai & the Laser Eyes.
