Interested in comedy and space and leaving the “bad place” behind. And speaking of bad places, The Good Place season 3 is really super relevant to regular people being moral in a modern society, and I love everyone that brought that into my life.

Maybe someone should tell Pete Hegseth he’s not actually a villain from True Blood or The Boys. He’s too committed to the bit.

Have spoken/taught at Northwestern many times; have many good friends there; always been an admirer and fan. Multiple ties especially with Medill School. Will never forget commencement ceremony there, 19 years ago.

Not an admirer or fan of this.

Courage is contagious. So is capitulation.
BREAKING: Northwestern University has agreed to pay the U.S. Treasury $75 million, over the course of three years as part of an agreement with the federal government to restore funding and end investigations into the university

"Critics have likened Mr. Trump’s approach to extortion, while others have chalked it up as a cost of doing business with this administration."

The IRA was useful, in a way, for testing a particular political theory of climate action: that you could hide its transformational nature and get support for it by mostly offloading it onto red state corporations. It was a reasonable theory. And now we are going to have to try something else
"The IRA’s survival was premised on the logic that a loose alignment of corporations would support climate policies in exchange for subsidies and convince Republicans to get on their side. That didn’t work." newrepublic.com/article/2027...

Lot of talk about if thanksgiving food is good. This is nonsense. Just as cigarettes are nicotine delivery devices, thanksgiving food is a gravy delivery device. Get the gravy right and nothing else matters.
