My idiosyncratic peeve: I still say "Go DOGS" bc that's what it was from my boyhood thru 1980 (see attached pic of '78 UGa bandana and '76 button; our family car's sole bumper sticker - purchased at the WLOCP around '74 - likewise). Apparently we got "Go DAWGS" bc it's copyright-able.
