It is really, really wild seeing the Climate Change Authority reimagined as a cheerleader for the Albanese government, only offering the very gentlest and mildest of critique once a year.

The CCA should be fully independent, and be focused entirely on holding the government to account
Kath Rowley,who below guides staff on how to downplay gas emissions, has just been appointed CEO of the Climate Change Authority, the body providing 'independent' advice to govt

Safe appointment for a govt wanting fossil fuel expansion to remain at home in our climate institutions.
