One of the coolest things I've ever seen - @clppng.bsky.social used a bunch of tiny robots and everyday junk and trash to create the backing tracks live for a tiny desk concert. I'm seeing them in February, I wonder if the robots will be hitting the road?

I have lived in D.C. a long-ass time to know that we're going to be ABSOLUTELY INSUFFERABLE about the Sandwich Guy verdict for weeks if not months. If you thought Halloween costumes and t-shirts bearing his silhouette were too much, wait until the Christmas artisan fairs, y'all.

Ney Matogrosso is a beloved figure in Brazilian music. He began his career in early '70s glam rock, with outrageous stage shows, makeup and costumes. That sense of playful fabulousness never went away.

Having lived through several ages of media, two have stuck out to me as incredibly meaningful: Rookie and the last decade of Teen Vogue, both ostensibly for young women, yet speaking to and for the age they’re in. Never looking down, but forward.
