20 years ago London was in the grip of fear - 4 terrorists had blown themselves up (killing 52 people) on 7 July 2005. Then 2 weeks later these four tried to do the same. The following day Jean-Charles Menezes was shot dead by police. Read my #Substack (1/2)

If criminals, like cats, have 9 lives, then Paul Allen has used up three. In the early 2000s he was shot at. In 2018 another gunman tried to kill him and in 2019 a 3rd attempt was made, this time paralysing him. The full story is in my latest #Substack (1/2)
