Thank you for sharing these tidbits and insights. Hopefully it helps people recognize how challenging RPG writing can be when you are trying to account for different player choices and expressions. The Flemeth/Morrigan scene is one of the best in the genre!

It's very idiosyncratic but quite fun once you've figured the battle system out. I prefer it to the more reactive but similar system in 13, which I found hectic as hell.

We were so spoiled this year. Amazing RPG after amazing RPG. From turn-based to hybrid action systems, from new worlds to old ones reimagined...just incredible stuff.
