I had the chance to screen my film at the first East Asia Documentary Exchange Forum in Seoul. Truly inspired by the resilience of Korean civil society, still shaken by the martial law declaration, expressed strong solidarity, saying, “What happened in Myanmar could have been our future.”

Film screening of Resisters in Borderland in Seoul — July 4! As part of the three-day forum organised by SEEAD.

Looking forward to learning alongside filmmakers from South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China, and building solidarity across Asia in the fight against authoritarianism.

I was invited to speak at East Asia Democracy Forum in Tokyo. The local resistance of Myanmar is deeply intertwined with regional democratic resilience. I was grateful that I could continue this perspective to the global conversation.

Min Aung Hlaing, the head of Myanmar’s military, attended an international conference held in Bangkok. It's deeply amoral for these Asian leaders to welcome a perpetrator of mass atrocities, especially one under an ICC arrest warrant!

Jumped into the first film festival hosted by Amnesty International English Network in Tokyo. It was a great opportunity to present what's happening in Myanmar/Burma and share my experiences and projects. I hope gatherings like this happen more often to strengthen intercommunal support.
