I went and binged it. Yes I preferred the audiobooks, but I did enjoy watching it. Definitely not the worst book adaptation I've seen, I really liked the actor playing murderbot.

I've just binged it. It's not the worst adaptation of a book I've seen, and it is only the first book, I think the politics etc are more obvious in the later books. I quite enjoyed it, but will reserve judgement to see if they ruin the later books... (I want to see ART)

You can't have it both ways, if you want to ban books with sex in, ban ALL books with sex in, INCLUDING the bible. A Handmaid's Tale, while a good book, is extremely disturbing & not suitable for young kids, but their parents can decide. I'm surprised that Flowers in the Attic wasn't on the list...

I'm mad that my taxes are paying for his security while he's in Scotland to open his golf course. He should pay for his own security as it's his private business, Starmer should send him a bill, not suck up like a weasel.

I saw this yesterday, but I've realised today that it's the "oh so subtle" move to flaunt the engagement ring / whatever else bling they have. They're all using the left hand angled to show it off...

It's like they asked AI to select "Autism Awareness" buzzwords without spell checking or getting any actual Autistic input. Considering the US police are more likely to shoot ND people and escalate situations when patience and deescalation would help, this is so tone deaf it's sickening.
