The moldy cheeto who will helm the USA for the next 4 long LONG years, has been and will only ever be concerned with his number going up. There are rivers of evidence in every thing he's ever done.

I can bring up hundreds of cases where I want to blame some shitty person and their shitty position for the shitty decision that resulted in a shitty product or result, but EVERY fucking time it's more simple than that.

Person wanted number go up. That's it.

In the years since high school, I see so much awful shit happen and continue to happen, and I cannot help but blame number go up rather than specific people or parties or policies or anything else.

"Why do the good thing when the good thing makes number go down, and we want number go up?"

I'm not suggesting that John Oliver or his team came up with "number go up", it's just where I first heard it.

Both my teacher and Mr. Oliver have the opinion that prolonged conflict between parties, be they nations or companies, will not escalate because number MUST go up.

His position was more succinctly put by John Oliver in one of his many hilariously depressing episodes where he described a similar situation but with specificity, as "this bad thing won't happen because it will make number go down, and number must always go up".
