I still say the most overlooked moment of transphobia in games is how Celeste "suddenly" got more nitpicky critiques about its design (despite basically just being Super Meat Boy) and put in the cynical "Indie RPG about Depression" box "mysteriously" right after Farewell and Maddy's transition
