There is straight up no genAI for games industry QA. it does not exist. Anyone claiming otherwise is lying to you. The best it can do is use GPT to populate scripted test plans or do engineering-level unit tests on code simulations. That doesn't cut it for games.

There is straight up no genAI for games industry QA. it does not exist. Anyone claiming otherwise is lying to you. The best it can do is use GPT to populate scripted test plans or do engineering-level unit tests on code simulations. That doesn't cut it for games.
I long for the shop simulator game that puts US bills and coins in the correct order. It's *always* backwards and I spent far too much of my life standing at registers to not find it an unfortunate buzzkill.

We did this partially because I have run into several conversations in the past couple years where Fisher is taken to be the answer to lots of questions I just don’t think he was trying to address, and this is partially me trying to work through that.
