The video for “Dracula’s Tango (Sucker for Your Love)” by Toto Coelo from 1983: lyrics are delicious bloody puns, the imagery is Gothic ‘80s pop, and the way the women *want* to invite him in… it’s perfect vampire mythology to me! ❤️🩸🧛🏻

I watched it on one of those dollar bin VHS tapes in the early ‘90s. I think it’s fascinating to see how movies/books/music go in and out of fashion as new generations come along

Interesting. When I was a young horror fan in the 80s/early 90s, SPIDER BABY was one of *the* cult films; BLACK CHRISTMAS, not so much
