I just started reading a book called “Gardening with Less Water” by David A. Bainbridge. One of my many goals for next year’s garden is to incorporate a more effective way to water my various beds.

I’m trying to incorporate new hobbies into my daily routine. Reading, gardening, yoga & writing. Really anything that doesn’t involve a hand held screen. I can only handle so much of social media with all the “breaking news” headlines everyday.

The winters feel never ending as the clouds cover the sun for months. Not to mention just how cold it gets there. Minimum wage is on the higher side. The bugs are nothing compared to their southern counterparts. Public school ratings tend to be on the higher side.

I watched a pair of cardinals hanging out on my back porch. It was absolutely adorable watching one of them scratch their head with one of their little feet.

There are so many abandoned malls across the US. Is there really no way to renovate them into housing units?

My friends told me I appear to have more of a reactive response to it. I’ve noticed my sensitivity for my senses drops. Nothing like experiencing lil body twitches because a particular noise catch my ear aka happy bees 🐝

I’m jealous of those who can do tasks out in public after smoking. My anxious self would be on edge.

Call me a plain Jane but I like to make my coffee at home. I know it’s going to be just right every time. Having a good cup of coffee keeps me sane with all the chaos in the world.
